For mental health therapists passionate about IFS

Learning IFS is easy. Mastering IFS is an art.

Internal Family Systems™, developed by Richard Schwartz, has gained widespread popularity and acceptance as a therapy that heals trauma and transforms lives.

IFS is both intuitive and complex—a powerful unfolding where clients go on fascinating inward journeys to find answers and resources they forgot they had, guided by clinicians leading from their best Self.

IFS revives therapy and relieves burnout. Until the therapist gets stuck…

When IFS flows, it’s phenomenal. When it flounders, it’s feedback. Most who study this powerful model eventually hit roadbloacks or plateaus, causing their own parts to lose faith in the process, their clients, or themselves. Even highly trained IFS therapists will face new challenges, or clients whose parts are the perfect “tor-mentors.”

Weekly consultation will help you overcome common stuck points, and build trust that in IFS everything is feedback so it’s impossible to fail. Expert guidance will get your Self back into flow.

Guidance you can trust to master the art and heart of IFS.

Weekly Consultation with IFS Lead Trainers

Refresh your skills and renew yourSelf with consistent consultation from three longtime IFS Lead Trainers Paul Ginter, Mariel Pastor, and Elizabeth Taeubert—all trained directly by Richard Schwartz in the 1990s and each with more than 25 years of clinical and supervisory experience.

Ongoing guidance from in-demand trainers can be expensive and hard to find. The IFS Consultation Collective gives you affordable access to multiple trainers—helping you strengthen your skills at a consistent pace. Be a part of the conversation and get a fresh perspective on your IFS questions.

IFS-Informed or IFS Trained? We’ve got you covered!

Each month focuses on different IFS themes and client challenges. Submit your case for live debriefing and deepen your learning in discussion and Q&A. Continue the conversation on our community bulletin board to broaden your IFS repertoire.

Work safely with clients at a pace that is collaborative, trauma-informed, and within your IFS skill level. Improve retention rates by attuning deeply to your clients’ inner worlds, empowering them to know, love, and heal their parts.

Discover more about your own inner world, and improve connections to parts that overwork or overwhelm you in session. Reinvigorate your passion for healing work with IFS as a personal resource.

Learning from multiple trainers will help you go beyond the books and basic phrases, so you can find your own voice. Ask questions to clarify core concepts and methods as they apply to your clinical practice.

Week 4 will focus on personal integration from previous weeks, with time for deeper meditations, exercises, and peer groups for reflection and connection. Get more IFS questions answered by trainers on our Community Bulletin Board. Members can share their profiles on our learning platform and are encouraged to make connections with peers for practice and referrals.

Download our IFS-informed practice kit including Intake Evaluation, Treatment Plans, and Progress Notes developed for your IFS practice. Enjoy our library of worksheets, handouts and meditations to share with clients–and IFS topic recordings just for you.

Why meet weekly?

Paul, Mariel, and Elizabeth know that weekly consultation reinforces IFS education by bringing the model into clinical practice, much more so than monthly meetings can do. Consistent, caring immersion in IFS is not only good for clients—it’s great for therapists to get real-time feedback within a supportive Self-led community.
