Elizabeth Taeubert

I  have been working with IFS for over 20 years and continue to learn the nuances and power of the process.  I have been a lead trainer for the Internal Family Systems Institute for over 10 year.  As a lead trainer and an IFS Clinical Consultant I have the opportunity to help other therapists learn and grow as they offer IFS therapy to their clients.  It gives me great pleasure to work with IFS clinicians as they deepen and broaden their use of the model.

My goal everyday is to remember that my parts are my friends and loved ones, even when they cause unintentional difficulties. When I remember this my heart remains open to my parts as well as all those around me.

Learning about IFS changed my professional and personal life in profound ways.  This is a model of therapy that allows for deep and sustained healing.  However, for me it has been a lens through which I see the world.
